The experts say "aerobically speaking" there's no difference. If you do other things at the same frequency, intensity, and duration, you get same result. Climbing stairs uses the derriere, lower back, and lower legs more than either cycling or jogging. Climbing, however, puts together stress on the knees.
Do remember that stair climbing can be quite exhausting, so take it easy at first and work up slowly to a longer program. Remember, too, if you are overweight, you would be wise to get most of your aerobic exercise through walking using the stationary bike.
Isn't it wonderful to know that God knows every step you take, but that He doesn't keep track of your sin!
