While I was looking down the Pasig river from atop the Jones bridge where I was taking a little walk down the National Post Office, I can't help but to notice the same river that I used to stare at whenever I would take a hike to Luneta Rizal park ten years ago... It seemed there is no development as to the planned restoration and cleaning-up of the historical river in Manila. I just can't help but snatched another glance and took a snapsnot of it.

Last weekend, I had to visit my nephew who was confined at a hospital nearby his place and was so drowned at the sight of the Christmas decorations in every storey of the hospital building...Indeed, Christmas is just around every corner of every place I visit.

Life is not at all a bed of roses..there are ups and down for sure...and what is important for us to be prepared of is when the downs knock up at our doors....

these images i got from my sis, who is a good mother of three, took her rawest courage to attend to her eldest, my nephew and godson, who got the dangerous and deadly Dengue Fever who at this time has been going around the country ( so beware and be cautious of mosquitoes carrying this deadly disease!)

the struggle of my nephew was indeed remarkable..and right now, he was discharged from the hospital.....Thanks be to God!

Binondo , Manila is one of the oldest busy streets in Manila. Going back to the hands of time, it will show us that this street is, as a matter of fact, the most popular and one of the busiest during the time of Jose Rizal and onwards...
Now, you can only see the old structures and buildings as silent witnesses of the changing times....
