auto repair shop that takes care....

Gbex says: I am having my honda CRV fixed at Gilbert's! Last night, while I was driving my way down the boulevard, a wreckless truck driver passed on and accidentally hit the rear side pender of my CRV.

I was so upset but couldn't do anything as the driver did not even recognize his fault. I ended up going to my date with a slightly bended pender.

So, with this car shop that I used to bring my cars in the past, I am sure that my car will get fixed as good as new again. This car shop has gained my respect and confidence as its experts really know what they are doing when it comes to car's mishaps!....

a handsome one...2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Gbex says: Chevrolet has gone mum with official word about the car, because of worries that the Camaro might be overexposed before its launch next year, while they go to the unusual step of testing cars without camouflage in the hopes that spy photographers and the public would tire of seeing the same cars over and over again.

An insider who's driven the car says the performance of the new Camaro "will take 35 years off your life."
Spy photos also revealed that the interior will be very close to the concept car that made its debut at the 2006 North American International Auto Show.

Ssheduled to bow in the first quarter of 2009 as an early 2010 model, it is expected that the Camaro will be offered in three trim levels — LS, LT and SS.
The Camaro will offer a choice of 6-speed automatic or manual transmissions.
Let look forward to the day Camaro gets launched fully!

sports that are breathtakingly fantastic...

Motocross (often shortened to MX or MotoX) is a form of motorcycle sport or all-terrain vehicle racing held on enclosed off road circuits. Motocross is derived from the French, and traces its origins to British Scrambling competitions. The name "motocross" is a portmanteau derived from the words "Motorcycle" and "Cross Country".
Motocross is distinct from other forms of motorsport in having a mass start, where all the riders line up alongside each other, starting simultaneously and racing the race distance. The first rider across the finish is the winner of that "moto"; the number of motos may vary and points are added up to determine the final winner.

Motos vary in duration, measured in time elapsed plus one or two laps, or alternatively a fixed number of laps. Top level racing tends to have long races (e.g. 30 minutes plus 9 laps) while at the other end of the spectrum, amateur races can be as short as 5 minutes. When the designated time duration of the race is complete, a finish line flagger signals via a board or flag to the racers that there are one or two laps left, and the race is finished by a checkered flag.

Motocross tracks are often quite large (a quarter mile) and incorporate natural terrain features with varying amounts of man-made jumps and other features. It is not unheard of for a Motocross track to be made up entirely of hills and turns with tons of jumps. In contrast, Supercross is an entirely man-made track, comprised almost exclusively of a wide array of jumps, and is typically held in an indoor stadium. Due to the size of outdoor tracks, motocross races typically include 40 racers, while supercross races usually have about 20.

Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheeler motor sport with simple, small four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports.

Karts vary in speed and some (known as Superkarts) can reach speeds exceeding 160 mph (250 km/h). A Formula A kart, with a 100 cc 2 stroke engine and an overall weight including the driver of 150 kilograms, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 85 mph (140 km/h). It takes a little more than 3 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph with a 125 cc shifter kart (6 gears), with a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h) on long circuits.

Get a Loan for a New Car!

gbexpostlogo

DSC01201
My friend and buddy, Dom, sent me a long email expressing his anxiety over a problem that concerned a decision he had to make on a significant issue that pertains to his community's old Chevrolet car.

This is the old car that Dom mentioned earlier in his emails that went to the ditch two weeks ago and caused mild traumas to two of his monk brothers who were in it. They were going to town for their medical appointments that gloomy, snowy day when the accident occured along the thirteen and a half-mile dirt road going out to the highway.
In relation to this incident, Dom's superior assigned him to personally attend to the car as it's been giving difficulty and danger to anyone in his community who drives it for a town trip or for simply going to the other building of the monastery complex.

Just the other day, as what Dom mentioned in his letter, the same old car went down the ditch again when a monk drove it down their guesthouse to collect dirty linens for laundry. With the series of car mishaps that occured involving the same car, Dom's superior has finally decided to get Dom to attend on it to solve future occurrences of mishaps and life endangering situations of his monks.

Now, my friend is torn into two major decisions: Sell the old car and buy a brand new one? Or Send the old car to a repair shop for major repairs and continue using it for their future town trips amidst the snow filled dirt road?

I wrote my friend back and enlightened him on the issues that were confronting him. I suggested to him that he must choose to get rid of the old car and buy a brand new one. I had to tell him that sending the old car to a repair shop will entail his community a lot of expense from their hard-earned-money-from-their-giftshop, and afterwards, the car's capacity and lifespan may still be at stake and the kind of service that it may give them couldn't still be assured.
I told him furthermore that by selling it to a car dealer who buys used old cars and by getting a brand new one, they will be assured of an utmost safety especially to the monks who frequently go on long hours of town trips regularly. Also, by buying a brand new car, they can save their money from frequent future car repairs.

It seemed that Dom was fully convinced and my suggestion to buy a new car was finally considered. However, there was one problem! He emailed me back and told me that his superior told him that they don't have that much budget and enough funding for a new car since their finances are currently focused on one major financial concern: the grading and widening of their monastery property bumpy dirt road! In view of their predicament, I emailed Dom and told him: "Why don't you tell your superior to avail of a car loan? With CarsBlvd Car Loans, they will get the maximum funding that they will need to purchase a brand new car.

Dom emailed me back and expressed his gratefulness for recommending him the company that takes care of Car Loans

As of this writing, he has already prepared the documents and papers that might be needed in the pursuit of a car loan from the company that I recommended him.

So, there you are my friends, Dom is getting a car loan for his community.

Do you want to try to get one, too? Try the CarsBlvd Car Loans. With them you may soon end up, too, with your worries and anxieties from sending your old cars to repair shops over and over short intervals of time.

careful...careful...

gbexpostlogo

After Dom told me, in his text messages, the incident that happened the other day in the dirt road going out of the monastery wherein his co-monk's car fell off the deep ditch (thanks God, it did not fall the cliff) on the hillside, and he came to rescue by pulling the dumped Blazer out the ditch and in the end his Xterra fell off too because it just couldn't pull the poor Blazer out of the ditch, I told him in my text messages that he should exercise extra effort to be very very careful in driving especially in that damn thirteen and a half mile slimy, snowy, mushy slippery dirt road leading to the first signs of civilization in New Mexico.

I understand that he needed to respond to a change in his lifestyle when he came over United States, and that was unavoidable and inevitable as he needed to adapt to his new environment.
I recalled to him that in the Philippines, he never drove the streets of Manila simply because public transport was bountiful and anywhere he went, he would only get a taxi cab or a passenger bus or a jeepney to get to the malls or to report for work in school.
I told him that it is only in the Philippines where jeepneys are crowding for passengers. But, all these, he left behind when he came to the USA to join Religious life- a different kind of lifestyle.

He was grateful to my reminders and advice especially after viewing these images that i sent in his email:

we need more of these now and in summer...

Firetrucks and autos are considered ncecessities that citylife would definitely need especially that the heat of the slowly creeping summer is fast approaching...

I was looking at these autos and just can't help thinking what will happen to Manila in summer when firetrucks and fire equipments will become unavailable due to lack of budget, engine problems or lack of trained firemen....

I cannot imagine the danger and trouble the cityfolks will be facing against fires here and there and everywhere then.
