Seasoned with Salt

Ellen says: Have you ever tasted that need a little more salt and you added it and then the food tasted just right? Salt is a great seasoning when used in small amounts. Most people, however, get too muh salt in their diet. Where does it come from?

Would you believe that 80 percent of the sodium you consume is put into processed foods by the manufacturer? Another 10 percent occurs naturally in foods. And only 10 percent omes from the salt shaker.

To cut down on salt try adding a few drops of lemon juice to foods. This not only perks up flavor but also gives even a little salt more bounce.
