through the glass of water

Ellen says: Thirst is a sensation that lags far behind the body's needs. Our bodies can be two quarts low on water before we feel thirsty. Water loss from perspiration can quickly lower your body's fluid balance-especially if you exercise in hot, humid weather. Older individuals also need lots of water because their thirst mechanism does not work properly.

Water robbers are coffee, tea, fat and sugar. Whenever you have these beverages, always follow them with a glass of water. Eating a high fiber diet also requires water in the refrigerator, and drink all all day long.

Your'e giving a keynote address. What do you do for your jitters? Sip a tall glass of water. Drinking water-at any temperature-can help prevent dehydration , counteracting the dry mouth, sweaty palms, and heart palpitations that accompany anxiety.

No matter what your age or activity level, you need a regular intake of water to function at your best.
