Ellen Says: You can experiment with your own sleep patterns. Go to bed half hour earlier than you you normally do for a week. Do you feel more alert and rested? Next, try going to bed one hour earlier for the second week. See how you feel.
Remember, it is important to extend your time by going to bed earlier rather than by getting up later. If you rise later, your body's internal clock may not be in sync with your getting up time, and you may wake up feeling groggy. If you have received the right amount of sleep you should wake up without alarm clock and feel refreshed all day.
