Drink water. Dehydration can cause your energy levels to plummet, and we all wake up dehydrated. Start your day with two 8-ounce glasses of water as soon as you wake up, and keep a water bottle on your desk and sip from it throughout the day.

Eat right. Eggs are rich in choline, which helps to boost concentration. And omega-3 fatty acids are critical to improving brain function, energy, and mood. You could add a bit of salmon to your morning omelets or put it on your dinner menu once or twice a week; alternatively, a 1,000 to 1,500 milligram daily supplement should energize you in about a week.

Sleep well. Easier said than done, we know. But there are a few things tricks to getting more restful sleep: Keep your room cool; 68 degrees should do it. That'll help your body fall into deeper sleep.
