Ellen says: No matter how much we desire perfection and completeness, we need to embrace the facts of our limitations. In our broken world, things are less than what we like them to be. And our own imperfections are writ large in all that we do . This need not drive us to despair. Nor it prevent us from our purposeful activity.. We can still do what we must even when a totally conclusion eludes us. Hope allows us to face the present, no matter how difficult our present may be.Hope helps us to see the present in our new eyes, with eyes can see how things can be different. And hope can be then propel us forward, for we can see what we can be, rather than seeing only what is here and now.
