wanna try ginger tea?

Ellen Says: Ginger tea is a beverage in many countries, made from ginger root. In general, the tea is made by boiling peeled and sliced ginger to which honey is often added. Sliced orange or lemon fruit may also be added to give a flavour. In Korean cuisine, ginger tea is called saenggang cha.

It can be made either by boiling the ginger or by mixing hot water and preserved sweeten ginger. For the latter, sliced ginger root is stored with honey for a few weeks like jam.

Ginger tea is usually used to prevent colds and to aid digestion. It also has a remedial effect on diarrhea and stomachache due to low body temperature.

It helps someone who has a low body temperature due to bad circulation. However, this tea should not be consumed by anyone who has a gastric ulcer.

Cleaning up your act

Gbex says: Shortly after I was saved, God showed me that I had a gluttonous spirit. In a restaurant, I had carefully ordered fried chicken breast, no dark meat for me! The waitress mistakenly brought me a huge thigh. I remember looking at that chicken thigh in absolute dismay. I really wanted the white chicken breast. Why, I had been waiting for it all morning!

My reaction clearly showed me that I had let my flesh get out of control in my lust for that chicken breast! That may seem like a small problem, but it signaled to me that I needed to be cleansed of that gluttonous spirit toward certain foods.

God doesn't expect instant perfection from us, but He does want obedience. As He shows us, little by little, we sin in our lives and we confess it, victory will come. It won't happen overnight, but, as we look to God, He begins a worked in our lives.
