Look Dick look! who's that girl whom David Cook is taking out to the ball game?

The American Idol champ caught a game at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday with season 2 contestant Kimberly Caldwell, who sang the national anthem.

Cook and Caldwell stayed for the game and cheered on the Dodgers against the Colorado Rockies. Obviously, Cook is a big Dodgers fan, and he just wanted to enjoy the game with his girl.

But of course going out with American Idol's winner is not something that can be kept a secret for long. It was said that they were mobbed when they left, a source close to Caldwell squelled.

It was revealed that Caldwell, who met Cook while she was covering the reality show for TV Guide, is just getting to know him better outside of the show. But they've been out a few times and Kimberly thinks he's a great guy and a great talent.

It said that, according to latest news, the grown-up rocker singer got an edge over the teen singer with a difference of 12 million votes-and this made David Cook triumphed over David Archuleta....tsssk tsssk tssskkk---

when the going gets rough...

Dom says: While I was at my home visit, there was a moment which I couldn't help but to miss something which I just couldn't define myself. I was missing something that I could not figure out what it was or who it was.

My 'kumpareng' Aris and a fratbuddy as well, who's the father of Renzon, my godson, noticed a sudden melancholy in me, so he offered to cheer me up by asking his son Renzon to sing a lullaby!

That night when I felt I was having swing moods, Renzon's songs and the sound of his singing voice pleased me...

Truly, when the going gets rough in one's life, singing songs that will make you feel good about life is the answer!

hey friends! at least the episode 8 of Season seven of American Idol has chosen these hopefuls in their final audition.....and these turned out to be the best of the bets and bests of the 2008 American Idol!....I love you guys, you're wonderful!

I was browsing my Jpeg files when I came across these images of my buddy (Dom's foster brother, Jonathan) who bought one of Cebu's finest world-class guitars.
For sometime now, I have been learning the art of playing this instrument and hopes to finally able to pluck and strum them with all my might!

talent search

When I started viewing this VIDEO, I was kind of reluctant as I thought this is just one of the usual kind of vid clip from American Idol talent search which I have been keenly following up on its seventh season. I was wrong. Towards the middle and until the end of the clip, I was startled and moved by how one talent was able to get himself to be accepted in the next much awaited American Idol Seventh Season....
And he is Filipino!...
Long live the Filipinos in the field of Music and Entertainment!

"tonight is the night, la la la la"

It's been a long time since I was plunged to sing songs with a group on a karaoke or a videoke. But that night when my friend planned to tag along with me and some friends for a videokebar, I could not just resist.

So, even if my voice was not good enough for singing, I yielded to his request: I called up some of my friends who are really into videoke singing so they could come along and share the night of fun with me and my foreigner friend.

I was very surpprised at how videoke system now can blend my voice and adjust it to suit to the listening ears of my friends!

Oh my, it was worth my try!..Have you tried singing using a videoke system that changes and adjusts the quality of your voice? Try it and you might just say, "oh la la, I can sing like Madonna!"

We ended up at midnight with everybody happy and gay. (gay as in delight...-wow!, I was hesitant to use this word anymore as it might give you a different impression on its present doubled meaning and connotation.)
