evolution of friendhsip

Lawrence says: It only started with me getting introduced to a series of blogging opportunities. Such chance to blog stuffs that I love to write has exposed my blog to a group of people in the net which I called as my cyber-friends.

Friendship over the net is, I must consider, an impersonal and un-intimate kind of friendship. It is only when I get to meet these cyber friends in person that the chain of impersonal, and un-intimate friendship was broken that led to a personal and intimate type of friendship.

This, I would say, evolution of friendship usually occurs as the conditions shift. The shifting of being friends over the net to being friends face-to-face makes a lot of huge difference.

Friendship from the cyberspace down to being friends via personal appearances through a face-to-face encounter is indeed a remarkable evolution. Once cyber-friendship gets broken, a beautiful one emerges- coupled with commitment and accountability.

Real personal friendship with a cyber blogger Kuri of domesticated daddy's diaries is one example of an evolution of friendship.

Unlike the many other cyberfriends whom I met in person sometime in the past, Kuri is totally different- we have developed such closeness that is fitting for fraternal brothers.

Kuri has become not only my ordinary intimate friend but a brother in the real sense of the word.

From being a cyber-friend, Kuri broke the chain and became my personal friend and then has grown out to become my fraternal brother. Such is truly an evolution of friendship...
