Adjustment never ends

Ellen says: Creating a satisfying life is a lot like building a sand castle. Our life may look great for a moment, but it will soon change, whether we want it or not. My point is, we must enjoy every step of the process.. Enjoy work, enjoy shaping things to come and even enjoy when our efforts have to stop and we have just to wait for what happened next.

Through many trying times, me and my husband Rinzo maintained our joy in our family life. " Is this always fun and easy?" No , it is hard sometimes but there are bigger things than comfort in life and more important goals than avoiding what's important.

We take joy in watching our three kids make their way in school and life. Maybe they are not as cute and cuddly as they are when they are really young, but in this age, when we talked to them they talked back to us. And we just love that, little conversations about the world, math class and the movies.

"And when it's time for them to go out on their own. We are going to be sad for sure. but we will going back to look forward to enjoying them as adults."
