Ellen says: The closer we get to Christmas, the more we panic and, hey presto, we start to be reckless with our budgets. I don't let Christmas spending get out of my hand.
Ideally, I should have set my budget within my means, so the cost of Christmas can be covered by ymy monthly income and any savings I have squirrelled away throughout the course of the year. But realistically this does not always happen.
Christmas is said to be the most joyous time of the year, yet it can also be one of the most stressful. Without Christmas preparations and tips to get me organized and in the right frame of mind,I can be left frazzled, miss important people and things to do and spend more time and money than I expected to get needs met.
To ensure I will be prepared, relaxed and in good spirits for the Christmas season maybe I will make a card list and present list. I think, this is a powerful tool to get you organized and ensures that no-one will be missed.
But the most important Christmas Spirit list, is to rekindle and revive the spirit of Christmas. To make a list of everything I can do over the festive season to ensure I leave the joy and spirit of Christmas where-ever I go.
