bell pepper delicacy, anyone?

Ellen says: I know that there are already so many different stuffed pepper recipes out there in the net to refer from, but I thought I would add my own favorite one, too.
This is a delicious one and if you have someone in the family who doesn't like the peppers, then you can still serve the meat from around the peppers.

Ingredients
6 large bell peppers , 1 lb lean ground beef , 1/2 chopped onion , 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes, cut up , 1/2 cup long grain rice , 1/2 cup water , 1 teaspoon salt , 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions for cooking
1.You must cut the tops from peppers.
2.Then discard their seeds and membranes.
3.You must chop enough of the tops to make a good 1/4 cup of them.
4.Then set it aside.
5.Now, you will cook the whole bell peppers in salted boiling water for 5 minutes, no more no less!.
6. Then you need to invert and drain them well.
7. The next thing you will do is to sprinkle the insides of peppers lightly with salt.
8. It's time to get your skillet, cook the ground beef, onions and the chopped bell peppers until meat is browned and veggies are tender.
9.Well, you need to drain off any fat.
10. Next step is, you add undrained tomatoes, uncooked rice, water, salt, worcestershire and a dash of pepper.
11.Now you have to bring them to boil.
12.But you need to reduce heat after a little while, then cover and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes or until rice is tender.
13.You have to stir them in cheese.
14.Now you will need to stuff the peppers with the meat mixture.
15.Then you have to place them in a baking dish.
16.Now you will need to spoon any remaining meat around and in between the peppers.
17.And finally, you will need to cover and bake them in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Presto!!! you are done with your most delicious bell pepper delicacy!

Happy eating!!!!!!!
