Dom says: It is confirmed! The Benedictine nuns of Our lady of the Desert, the neighboring community, for women, of the community of monks of Christ in the Desert in whom I am one of the members, is moving out from their portals the soonest possible time, and will relocate their community in Gobernador, near Farmington, NM.
It was clarified and discussed to us by our Superior during our Chapter meeting that the rudiments of their fast approaching relocation to the said site, will be done mostly with the able assistance of the monks who are just too willing to give a hand and offer help to the sisters.
In connection with their relocation, which is scheduled on the first week of June, several monks were tapped to do some manual works in regards to their actual moving out. Some were assigned to contact a car transport which will faciliate most of the relocation process.
Other monks were asked to do clean-up and putting away stuffs in boxes and carts. I was assigned to do an inventory of stuffs on their Cloister's kitchen and pantry.
