Dom says: In my community, as far as our chanting and singing is concerned, people would not hear songs other than our chants.
So, it is not common to hear songs that carry Rap Lyrics because our singing community is a contemplative community.
That is why a great chance was offered to us, the community members, to witness a concert in Sta Fe that is far too different than the usual everyday lyrics that we sing in our congregation.
This concert which will be staged this coming Sunday in the evening at Sta Fe Old Plaza complex is indeed a night of nights to watch. For a change, these raps will bring a different experience and healing as well!
