I am indeed so hopeful that after this day, being the most silent day of the year as what I have posted on my other blog, our hopes and dreams may be filled with blessings as we welcome back Jesus from His lying in His tomb since Good Friday to finally rise once again and fill our hearts and lives with gladness and joy.
Also, I am so glad to greet my dearest surrogate sister Ellen who is celebrating her 40th birthday today. Does she look younger than 40? Indeed she does. It seems she is not giving justice to her real age as she looks more in her mid-thirties than her real age today.
I met Ellen in the school where I was teaching, and the first time that she was introduced to me personally inside the faculty room, I knew already that we will click as brother and sister. True enough, we became inseparable inside the school campus. The acquaintance between us evolved to something so intimate as brother and sister to each other.
There was even a time when Mr. Laoingco, a gay admin of the school turned sour to Ellen simply because he got so jealous of her simply because eh noticed my being so close to her and that he suspected that we were lovers... Little did I know the poor old gay Laoingco had a big crack on me...
Ellen will remain to be a part of my life, a surroagte sister at that and a good friend whom I can count on. Happy birthday to you dear Ellen!
