Hey! my friends, I am glad Gbex came out already from his weeklong hibernation. I wonder what transpired with him in Bicol huh!. Gbex, hey, post some pix huh!And since he already plugged my latest Resurrection post in my other blog, I need not do it anymore but instead will plug the eventuality of the Easter celebration in my community today.
I was made the assistant cook to Brother Marcus, Pinoy monk, former Claretian from Quezon City Phils, for the banquet meal today. So, as assistant, I made it possible that Brother Marcus got the correct ingredients, garnishings and whatnot. The washing of pots and pans was my job, too. The banquet celebration went so well with guests from nearby gracing the occasion. Actually, they were our regular guests who come over whenever there are big Liturgical celebrations held at the monastery.
Some images will show you the monks, the nuns, the guests, the foods served at table, and the two cool Pinoy monk cooks of the day's significance.
...and at the end of these eventualities of the occasion, "plakda sa sala set ang main cook na si marcus ,LOL.

mukhang c dom marcus lang nang nanghina ah...teka kainngit naman yung iba ibang kulay na ni serve nio...at su[per dami naman talaga always ang mga handa galore nio dyan....
wowww. very very beautiful pictures especially the foods. am sure they are all very delicious. I guess one needs to relax in those comfy sofa after the toilsome moments at the kitchen.
